waiting for the response of another


the constant look in hopes to feel like you matter and that you cross their mind

 the doubt of being apart of their day dreams

seeking the smallest confirmation that you are in their thoughts

when your around them your body pulls them into you like gravity but resistance keeps them at a distance

a smile can spark a million thoughts of love laughter and happiness

she fulfills a part of you that you didn’t know was there

lighting the flame of want and desire

 where a touch is like infinite sensations that shoot through your whole body

you close your eyes to envision the feel of true passion and desire when you have never touched lips

she is what lights you up in the morning the first thought that crosses your mind

you see distant plans together with visions as simple as feeling her hand in yours

feeling the connection that you have searched for what seems like an eternity

the outside world that surrounds you seems brand new

looking through brand new eyes

the risk you face is scary but you have decided that you will not live life for anyone else anymore

the feeling of release from the leash that has tied you down

 to feel freedom from you own life

and to find possible real love

 a minute seems to long to wait

keeping in mind that rushing it or one wrong move could ruin your forever

the understanding that you are both in a place of emotional confusion

when your together it all seems to disappear

everything just kinda fits

she normally needs the reason that it feels that way

 shes trying to change her ways not to rush and to just let it flow

but time is your enemy because you just want to feel

to feel like you can breathe

the taking in your breath of fresh air

 you grasp on to her words timing and facial expressions

they cause heat in your chest causing your heart to pound

her actions cut through every part of you

reading body language your not even sure you understand

the interpretation could leave you speechless

when what you thought was completely wrong

 the manual you learned from is outdated

 all along you wake up from this dream daily

 waiting for her to just make you feel wanted

not knowing that it will ever happen based on fear alone that you both share

Confirmation with the ease of exit from my life...
